Chef Ryan Vanek (right) has added a few new selections to the breakfast menu at the Skyline Dining & Conference Center on the 42nd floor of Bank of America Tower.
On Tuesday and Thursday, he makes omelets to order with a variety of fresh toppings and cheeses, as well as French toast.
Biscuits and sausage gravy are now on the menu on Friday.
“Our breakfast business has just about doubled since we added the omelets and biscuits,” said Vanek.
He said being on the top floor of Downtown’s tallest building has its advantages when it comes to the view, but it might cause confusion for some people who might be looking for a new place to have breakfast or lunch.
“We’re not a private club even though we’re on the top floor. We’re open to the public,” said Vanek.
The Skyline is open 8-10 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for lunch Monday-Friday. Each day’s lunch menu is available at www.theskylinejax.com.
