CREW Jacksonville members will have a tour of the $200 million SAFT Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing facility at Cecil Commerce Center on September 20.
The plant features many green innovations such as a one-megawatt solar array on the roof, rainwater collection for internal system use and energy saving construction.
The tour guides will include Plant Manager Peter Denoncourt.
The tour will be from 11-1 and is $30 for CREW members and $45 for non-members.
