• McDonald’s filed construction plans for its Downtown location at 201 E. State St. It’s designed as a 3,905-square-foot restaurant at a construction cost of $689,426. Stansell Properties of Tampa is shown as the contractor. It’s planned next to a Family Dollar at the site of Warren Motors, which intends to relocate its business to Brentwood.

• Krispy Kreme plans to remodel its Mandarin doughnut shop at 11117 San Jose Blvd. The almost $80,000 project includes new ceilings, wall finishes and cabinetry. It’s a 2,480-square-foot store.

• Waffle House plans for its new restaurant at 7894 103rd St. show a construction cost of $210,000.

• A new Peterbrooke is being built out at 9047 Southside Blvd., No. 5. It’s across from The Avenues mall.
