Mayor Alvin Brown signed the Downtown Investment Authority ordinance, 2012-364, today as a group that has contributed to its development looks on. The new authority will focus on the development of Downtown. The next steps will be the creation of its nine-member board and funding for the authority. “We are taking an environment that is good for business and making it great for business,” said Brown.
