Red Lobster to renovate
Darden Restaurants Inc. filed plans for interior and exterior renovations to two Red Lobster restaurants at 8720 Baymeadows Road in Southside and 416 Commerce Center Drive in the Regency area.
Plans show the lobby, bar and dining areas will be remodeled at the 7,830-square-foot Baymeadows restaurant and the 7,156-square-foot Regency area restaurant. Also, the exteriors will be repainted and the parking lots will be restriped and resealed.
7-Eleven planned in Riverside
7-Eleven is coming to Riverside, near St. Vincent's Medical Center. The chain plans a convenience store at 2545 Riverside Ave. within the existing Prado Walk center, according to a building permit application. The 3,137-square-foot store carries a improvement costs of $427,000.
