Bankers take shooting event

The Wells Fargo Advisors-sponsored team (from left) of Matt Turner and Chris Sivley, both of Wells Fargo, Wayne Holmes of Panel Tek and Lonnie Pomar of Osteen’s Restaurant won the 6th annual Remodelers Council Sporting Clay Tournament at W.W. Sporting Clays.

The event raised $3,750 for the Council.

There were 75 participants. Pomar was the overall highest individual scorer and Mandy Bouton of Ferguson Enterprises earned top female shooter.

According to Wikipedia, “Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting, often described as ‘golf with a shotgun’ because a typical course includes from 10 to 15 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain. ... sporting clays simulates the unpredictability of live-quarry shooting, offering a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes.”
