• Lee Lockett, of the law firm Stone Lockett, was elected president of The Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Northeast Chapter for 2012-13. 

• The Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin civil litigation law firm will celebrate the firm’s 50th anniversary this year. Founded in 1962, the firm has an office in Jacksonville, as well as three other locations around the state.

• Eric Holshouser and Robert Riegel Jr. were recognized among the state’s leading practitioners in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA – America’s Leading Business Lawyers. They are shareholders with Fowler White Boggs in Jacksonville.

• Akerman Senterfitt announced that the Chambers USA annual listing of the leading lawyers and law firms recognized 54 firm lawyers, including Peter Larsen in the Jacksonville office.

• Upchurch, Watson, White & Max Mediation Group announced that Robert Cole of the firm’s recently established Jacksonville office was named to the Florida Super Lawyers 2012 list.

• Brennan, Manna & Diamond announced that managing partner Michael Freed and tax partner Mike Ivan were recognized as Florida Super Lawyers for 2012.

• Edwards, Cohen, Sanders, Dawson & Mangu announced that Florida Trend magazine recognized David Edwards and Karl Sanders as two of the state’s 2012 “Legal Elite.”
