The Realtor Builder Accord, a year in the making, was unveiled this month. It’s a document that binds Realtors and builders to conduct business in an ethical way.
“We had a great task force and I think we produced a great document,” said committee chair Rose Bock. “All of us pride ourselves in the way we get along. This lets the world know how we work with each other.”
The taskforce came out of the Sales and Marketing Council’s Education Committee and had representatives from both NEFAR and NEFBA.
The accord was signed at this month’s meeting by the top executives of both: Daniel Davis from the builders’ association and Glenn East representing Realtors.
The document is to be placed on the website of both associations.
