Kyle Sanders will join St. Vincent’s Southside on Aug. 6 as president. He currently is chief executive officer of Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas.
Moody Chisholm, CEO and president of St. Vincent’s HealthCare, said in a news release that Sanders “has a wealth of health care experience with a proven track record of contributing to the success of health systems where he has served.”
As CEO of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, Sanders has been leading a 470-bed acute care medical center as well as an 85-bed behavioral health facility, children’s hospital, heart hospital, land and helicopter ambulance and a fully owned PPO Network.
He and his wife, Rhonda, are relocating to the Jacksonville area.
St. Vincent’s HealthCare includes St. Vincent’s Riverside, St. Vincent’s Southside, St. Catherine Labouré Manor, St. Vincent’s Primary Care, Consolidated Laboratories, St. Vincent’s Ambulance Service, Seton Pharmacies and Consolidated Pharmacies.
St. Luke’s Hospital, now St. Vincent’s Southside, was founded in 1873. It stands as Florida’s oldest private hospital. The hospital has 311 licensed beds.
