The Vision is Priceless Council, Marco Ophthalmic and VSP Vision Care will provide free comprehensive eye exams and glasses for 160 people who are on a waiting list in need of vision services.
The two-day vision clinics this weekend include three full eye exam lanes, provided in the Marco corporate offices in Jacksonville, and VSP will provide a 45-foot long, mobile eye clinic originally created to aid in disaster relief efforts.
The eye clinics are scheduled 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Marco Institute of Vision Technology.
Clients will be examined by Vision is Priceless, Marco and VSP volunteer techs, optometrists and ophthalmologists.
All of the 160 people receiving eye care and eyewear services have been prequalified and prescreened based on the VIP Cared Vision Program requirements and are on the waiting list for services.
