The Laurels got back together this month before a large gathering at Nocatee’s clubhouse.
It was the annual recognition by the Sales and Marketing Council with 42 awards and recognition of Million Dollar Circle qualifiers.
Michael Bourré of the Bourré Construction Group, the outgoing president of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, got the Grand Award.
Lennar had six individual winners: Linda Moore, Walter Hawkins, David Watts, Catherine Peterson, Teresa Santos and Jason Brooks.
Other major awards went to Cornerstone Homes; The Parc Group; Judy Hicks of Re/Max Coastal; Ron Harris of Harris Realty Partners and David Wakefield of PrimeLending.
There also were numerous awards in the Marketing and Production categories.
The Laurels had been presented in two parts in recent years due to the large number and both ceremonies were held during a monthly SMC breakfast. The slowdown in the real estate market meant fewer categories so having an all-in-one became manageable.
Lennar’s awards included the Dick Baker Memorial Award for Moore, the local division president; Hawkins as Marketing Director of the Year; and site agents Peterson and the team of Santos and Brooks.
Hicks won Realtor of the Year and The Parc Group took Developer of the Year for Nocatee, the giant project spanning Duval and St. Johns counties in the Intracoastal area.
Marketing awards included advertising, design, interior merchandising and publications, and Production awards included top producers in numerous categories.
