NEFBA recently welcomed more than 40 elected officials and other local government representatives to its Beast Feast at the NEFBA offices.

The annual networking event is held to thank elected officials from Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties for their service to the community and to introduce them to members of the Northeast Florida building industry.

"Our event provided a wonderful opportunity for our members to meet our elected representatives and thank them for their service and commitment to the Northeast Florida region," said NEFBA President Barbara Moore, who is division president for Lennar Jacksonville.  "It also gives our members the chance to meet one-on-one with our area's political leaders and share our thoughts regarding the local economy and building industry issues."

The Beast Feast featured live music, food and beverages.  Event sponsors included Republic Services, Inc. and Sleiman Enterprises.
