It has been amazing to watch our industry pull together over the last few years to support each other and work together. Lately, all our efforts have been rewarded by more positive trends – it is certainly encouraging to see growing changes in the market. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to meet, greet, and learn at the annual Realtor Builder Tradeshow.
This year’s premier event, with the theme “Game On,” will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the University of North Florida University Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR), the tradeshow is a perfect opportunity for members of the real estate and building industry to network with other area professionals and build and strengthen relationships. Organizers are expecting about 800 attendees.
In addition to entertainment, activities and light fare, the tradeshow will have more than 60 booths on exhibit, spotlighting companies, products, and services. It is not too late to present a booth, another great way to widen industry circles and get information into the hands of hundreds of professionals.
Education will also be a focus, with a variety of classes offered throughout the day. Trends in technology are often in the forefronts of our minds these days, so popular topics include sessions such as “Tablets 101” and “There’s an App for That,” both presented by Realtor Andrew Bell.
Believe it or not, the Realtor Builder Tradeshow has been an area event for the last 33 years – and it has grown and developed into a much-anticipated tradition for those of us in the industry. So line up your booth or sponsorship, get your tickets (a mere $10 in advance, $20 at the door), and I look forward to seeing you on Oct. 18. Game on!
