• Christopher Greene, a partner with the Purcell, Flanagan, Hay & Greene firm, was unanimously elected as chairman of Florida’s 7th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a one-year term. The circuit consists of Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties. The commission is responsible for recommending potential judges for the circuit whenever a vacancy occurs.

• Circuit Judge Jim Daniel and attorney Tad Delegal of Delegal Law Offices were recently invited to present an employment law survey course to the Florida Conference of Circuit Court Judges in Marco Island. The two conducted the seminar at the conference’s 2012 Annual Education Program that features courses for judges taught by experts in different areas of law. Daniel has been on the bench since 2009 and practiced civil litigation before to his 2008 election, while Delegal has practiced labor and employment law for 19 years.
