D.R. Horton's North Florida Division has opened four new model homes in four communities across the region. The home builder is also ramping up construction on several other homes in these communities to have offerings ready for quicker move-in to meet growing demand.
"There has been a steady increase of visitors and buyers at our model centers since last year and demand is clearly growing," said division president Andy Fremento. "We are excited to have so many new model homes opening in what looks to be a very busy spring season for new homes around the First Coast."
Fremento said new decorated model homes have opened at Azalea Ridge in Clay County, Bainebridge Estates in Jacksonville, Aberdeen in St. Johns and Woodlake in St. Augustine.
New Model at Azalea Ridge
The Longwood model is now open at Azalea Ridge. This single level home has approximately 1798 square feet including four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. The Azalea Ridge model is located at 3840 Great Falls Loop in Middleburg. The community is convenient to shopping and many recreational opportunities. It is also within the highly rated Clay County school system. Fremento said a new community recreation amenity is planned for construction next year. D.R. New Model at Bainebridge Estates
The Augustine model is now open at Bainebridge Estates. This home has approximately 2201 square feet on one level including four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a three-car garage. The community is convenient to the airport, River City Marketplace and schools. It features state-of-the-art community amenities including a resort style pool, water park, lighted tennis courts, large clubhouse and fenced and child-friendly playgrounds. New Model at Aberdeen
The Destin II model is now open in Castlegate at Aberdeen. This two-story home has an open floor plan with approximately 2892 square feet including four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage. The exterior of the new model is enhanced with ledge stone and unique architectural detail. The model, as built, has a large California bar-top island overlooking the gathering room. D.R. Horton has also added their gourmet kitchen option that includes a stainless steel double wall oven, a separate glass cook top with built-in microwave overhead, and staggered 42" upper cabinets with crown molding. There is also a large walk-in pantry.
Aberdeen is a master planned community featuring expansive amenities and a variety of neighborhoods, including several offering D.R. Horton homes. A northwest St. Johns County location means many of the best schools are close by, and the community is convenient to Interstates 95 and 295. New Model at Woodlake
The new St. Johns model is now open at Woodlake in St. Augustine. This one-story home has approximately 3035 square feet including four bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage. The model features a foyer with 10' ceilings, and formal living and dining rooms to either side that include optional step trey ceilings. The kitchen is approximately 20' X 15' with both an island and a large curved bar top open to the gathering room. The maple cabinetry is raised panel painted in a linen color with a hazelnut glaze. The countertops are quartz.
The model also shows the gourmet kitchen option that includes two wall ovens, and a separate cooktop with a built in microwave above it. It also features stainless steel appliances. There is a large food pantry across from a formal Butler's Pantry serving area, leading in to the dining room.
The community is convenient to U.S. 1 and I-95 and is within the highly rated St. Johns County school system. It features a community recreation center with resort-style pool and playground.
