Pointe Place approved at River City Marketplace
More retail stores are planned at River City Marketplace, the North Jacksonville retail center at Duval Road and Interstate 95.
The City approved construction of the 14,800-square-foot building, which will provide seven units for retailers, at a project cost of $1 million. Malcolmson Construction Co. Inc., of St. Petersburg, is listed as the contractor.
Pointe Place's address is 790 Skymarks Drive. The owner is Pointe Place at River City LLC, based in Sarasota. The project is planned on 1.7 acres on an outparcel at Skymarks Drive and Duval Road.
Great Clips building out in Deerwood Village Mall
Plans show Great Clips is building out a hair salon at 9936 Old Baymeadows Road in the Deerwood Village Mall. Success Builders of Fruit Cove is shown as the contractor for the $56,000 project to renovate 1,250 square feet of space.
Vision Express joining Parkway Shops
Plans show Vision Express will open in the Parkway Shops near River City Marketplace.
Tenant Contractors Inc. is the contractor for the 1,874-square-foot tenant build-out at a project cost of $143,000. The eye-care operation is planned at 14964 Max Leggett Parkway, No. 106.
Lumber Liquidators opens in Regency
Lumber Liquidators announced it has opened an 8,600-square-foot store in the Regency Court shopping center at 9382 Arlington Expressway. It is the second store in Jacksonville.
It's the hardwood-flooring chain's 20th store in Florida and features the company's new store layout, which Lumber Liquidators says "provides an enhanced visual display of the company's extensive product selection and offers everything remodelers need for a new floor, including tools, accessories, area rugs and floor cleaning supplies."
The company says it offers more than 340 flooring varieties. The new location has installed floors to show customers different styles and species of wood and also offers an in-store iPad with its Floor Finder app to show how floors will look when installed.
