DTLR OK'd at River City Marketplace

DTLR, which stands for Down Town Locker Room, is a step closer to opening at River City Marketplace in North Jacksonville.

The City approved a permit Thursday for Titan Contractors Inc. to remodel 6,000 square feet of space at 13221 City Station Drive, No. 141, for the clothing retailer. The project cost is show as $155,348.

DTLR focuses on apparel and shoes for a core demographic of customers from ages 15-30.

In May, the City OK'd build-out for DTLR at 1010 Dunn Ave. in Highland Square Shopping Center, also in North Jacksonville. Titan Contractors was the contractor for that $40,000 project to renovate a 4,056-square-foot store in the Highland Square Shopping Center.

Torrid opening at The Avenues mall

The City approved build-out for a Torrid store at The Avenues mall. The store, a brand owned by Hot Topic Inc., is planned in No. 2560 of the mall at 10300 Southside Blvd. Torrid features current trends for plus-size women and teens.

Lakeview Construction Inc. is the contractor for the 2,249-square-foot remodeling at project cost of $146,597.

LUSH, A'Gaci licensed for business

• LUSH Handmade Cosmetics gained its business license to operate at the St. Johns Town Center. Lush Cosmetics NY LLC will operate the store at 4813 River City Drive, No. 149A.

• A'Gaci LLC was licensed to operate at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd., No. 1070A. A'Gaci sells "racy, femme fatale styles" marketed to young women.

Daily's building in Mandarin

A Daily's/Shell convenience store is under construction in Mandarin at 11066 Old St. Augustine Road. C&R General Contractors Inc. will build the 4,750-square-foot store and a car wash at a project cost of $1.36 million.

Another Dollar Tree on the way

The City approved a building expansion and a 10,000-square-foot tenant build-out for Dollar Tree at 12123 Lem Turner Road.

R.P. Witt Construction Inc. is the contractor for the $346,463 project that expands the building and also completes the Dollar Tree renovations.
