Despite it being December, it was a warm summer evening during the final First Wednesday Art Walk of 2013.

Themed "Downtown for the Holidays," store windows throughout the neighborhood were decorated for the season and Santa Claus was in Hemming Plaza hearing gift requests.

Carolers caroled and shoppers shopped, then headed for the venues in The Elbow entertainment district.

Downtown Vision Inc. has canceled the January edition of Art Walk because the first Wednesday is Jan. 1, the New Year's Day holiday. The next Art Walk is Feb. 5
