Khan to offer up to $1 million for One Spark creators

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan will partner with One Spark to offer up to $1 million in capital investment for creators who participate in the April crowdfunding festival.

Scheduled April 17-21, the five-day event will attract entrepreneurs, inventors and innovators to showcase their work, products and ideas in multiple venues Downtown. The public will experience then evaluate entries and vote on their favorites, with each entrant receiving a proportionate share of a $250,000 prize fund combined with additional visitor contributions.

Khan has pledged up to $1 million in capital from STACHE Investments Corp. for chosen creators who participate in the event, according to a news release. In addition, One Spark will work to provide STACHE access to creator profiles before the event for possible equity investment opportunities.

"One Spark will attract and celebrate creativity in a variety of fields including science, technology, engineering and the arts, all of which are areas of great personal interest. Jacksonville is the perfect host for this festival and I believe One Spark has the potential to inspire some really big thinking from the brightest minds in the area and beyond," Khan said in the release.
