If you have ever walked past Downtown Vision Inc.'s office along Hogan Street, you've seen some of Tiffany Manning's work.

She's a commercial photographer and provided the images used for the graphics on DVI's windows.

Manning lives and works Downtown. She opened a studio in August at 220 E. Forsyth St., near where she lives in a condominium.

Her daughter attends LaVilla School of the Arts and rides a bicycle to school. Manning's office and studio is one block from home.

"I love this space and I love what I do," she said.

Manning has been a full-time photographer for four years. She said she was given the opportunity when the advertising and public relations agency where she worked as an art buyer trimmed its staff during the economic downturn.

"As soon as I walked out the door … I revamped my web site and started showing my work to agencies," Manning said.

She began specializing in portraits done on location and soon developed a client list of advertising agencies and law firms. Now that Manning has moved into office and studio space, she has added fashion photography to her list of services.

"I feel really lucky. I'm living my dream," she said.
