The inaugural One Spark crowdfunding festival wrapped up April 21, but some of the entries in the event continue to decorate Downtown.
Several outdoor murals remain along with wrapped street signs, bicycle racks and a construction fence along West Adams Street.
One Spark Executive Director Elton Rivas said it was impossible to predict the lasting effects of an inaugural event, but it is no surprise the public art installations have been sustained.
“Our hope was there would be a spillover of art and creativity that would remain after One Spark,” Rivas said.
He said the One Spark team has been reviewing the results of a survey of Downtown visitors during the five-day event to identify possible improvements for the 2014 festival.
“We’re open to making changes based on the community feedback,” said Rivas.
