With the Florida hurricane season officially underway, many of the state’s home builders and construction professionals will be preparing to help homeowners protect themselves and their property by attending the upcoming Southeast Building Conference July 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

The Florida Home Builders Association-sponsored SEBC features “Hurricane Alley” on its exhibit floor – a special section of displays that showcase hurricane-mitigation products and resources.

In addition, builders will be able to take courses on hurricane-related issues, including building homes and structures in ways that minimize wind damage.

The exhibits and education are made possible in part by a grant to FHBA from Building a Safer Florida and the Florida Department of Emergency Management. More information at www.sebcshow.com.
