C2C Solutions, a Medicare appeals contractor associated with Florida Blue, intends to move Downtown into the sixth floor of EverBank Center.

It files with the state at 532 Riverside Ave. and has an office within the Freedom Commerce Centre, according to an employee. The company will consolidate its Riverside and Southside offices to bring 200 jobs Downtown.

Auld & White Constructors Inc. will renovate the 32,688-square-feet of space at a project cost of $1 million, according to a building permit application filed with the City.

El Ad Florida LLC owns the building at 301 W. Bay St.

Construction plans show a maximum of 350 occupants in the space. The drawings show at least 178 workstations along with offices, conference rooms, a board room and training space.

Mayor Alvin Brown is scheduled to announce the relocation at a news conference at 2:30 p.m. today at EverBank Center.

He will be joined by Tom Manley, president and CEO of TMF, the parent company of C2C, and Jacksonville Transportation Authority CEO Nathaniel Ford.

C2C employs professional, administrative and clinical employees in several states including Florida, Connecticut and Tennessee.

It specializes in providing health care appeals and administrative support services and payment dispute resolution services in all states and U.S. territories.
