Attend the events hosted by The JBA and YLS; contact a YLS board member.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

After college, I had always volunteered my free time coaching lacrosse, but have been on hiatus since moving to Jacksonville. I have enjoyed being involved with the Young Lawyers Section of The JBA and helping to organize events where young lawyers have an opportunity to interact with the state and federal judges of the community. It is important for young lawyers, many of whom are not frequently in a courtroom, to have the chance to get to know the local judges in a more informal setting.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

"11/22/63" by Stephen King
