Red Lobster

The City approved the building permit Wednesday for renovations to the Red Lobster in Baymeadows.

RPC General Contractors Inc. is the contractor for the $200,000 project, which is a remodeling of the 7,830-square-foot restaurant at 8720 Baymeadows Road.

The City approved $308,576 in renovations Friday for the Regency restaurant at 416 Commerce Center Drive. Haley Construction Inc. is the contractor.

Florida SE Inc. of Orlando owns the two locations.

The permit applications for the Baymeadows Road and Commerce Center Drive restaurants show refinishes to the lobby, bar and dining areas; the exteriors will be repainted; and the parking areas will be restriped and resealed.

Jimmy John's signs

The City approved a wall sign for Jimmy John's at 5960 Beach Blvd. Taylor Sign & Design is the contractor for the $4,270 project. The jimmyjohns.com website shows nine Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches in the Jacksonville market, not including the new Beach Boulevard location, which appears to be the 10th.

Ale Pie House receives license

The City issued a business license to Ale Pie House Inc. at 3951 St. Johns Ave. in Avondale. Ibrahim Orhan is the president. For information about the Italian restaurant and to browse the menu, visit alepiehouse.com.
