Seasons of Japan opens at Town Center

Savannah-based Seasons of Japan opened its first Jacksonville restaurant March 15 next to Publix in the St. Johns Town Center area. The address is 4413 Town Center Parkway, units 201-203.

The restaurant has been under way for months.

In January, Seasons of Japan notified the City under the Fictitious Name Law it intended to register its name with the state Division of Corporations. Loc Thau Lin is listed as president of the company, Seasons of St. Johns Inc.

He said in early November he would open the Town Center location and was negotiating a second location in Mandarin.

In November, the City approved tenant build-out for Seasons of Japan at the Town Center. D.A. Davison Contracting Inc. was approved to handle renovations of the 2,663-square-foot space at a project cost of $295,800.

The seasonsofjapan.com site shows eight locations in Georgia, South Carolina and now Jacksonville, the first shown in Florida. It shows a restaurant "coming soon" in Irvine, Calif.

It describes itself as "a Japanese restaurant serving genuine Japanese and all Hibachi style cuisines that are cooked to order." The menu shows bowls, entrees, combination plates, salads, sushi and more. The company, which franchises, said its first restaurant opened in 1999 in Savannah.

The menu at the Town Center restaurant includes express bowls, wraps, cooked and raw sushi, soups and salads, side items, dessert and a special menu featuring hibachi items, Angus beef and teriyaki ahi tuna.

Special menu items are priced $5.50 to $9.95. Express bowls, such as teriyaki chicken and beef and hibachi shrimp, range from $7.75 to $9.95.

The Seasons Bento chicken, shrimp, roast beef and Angus steak are $8.95 and $9.95 and include sushi, edamame, tamago (egg) and rice.

The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. daily and closes at 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 9 p.m. Sunday.

3 Sisters moving to San Jose Plaza

Real estate broker Margie Seaman announced a lease for 3 Sisters Chocolate and Bakery at 10950 San Jose Blvd., No. 13. Seaman, of Sellers Realty Group, represented the landlord and the tenant.

The 3sisterschocolate.com website says it will move Sunday from its store in the Merchants Walk center at 9965 San Jose Blvd., No. 39, to the new San Jose Plaza site and open in early April.

The site says 3 Sisters Chocolate and Bakery opened 12 years ago. "The inspiration for the business name was in honor of three daughters. One is the incredibly sweet sister, one is the creative sister and one sister is a complete perfectionist," it

said.

La Salsa Market

Tax Collector Michael Corrigan issued a business license for La Salsa Market LLC at 2932 University Blvd. W. Sophal Kheng is the applicant.

Kheng filed articles of incorporation Jan. 2 as a Florida Limited Liability Company with the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations and listed 2932 University Blvd. W., Suite 1, as the address. Kheng is the manager of the company.
