O'Charley's plans Regency renovation

O'Charley's Inc. intends to remodel its Regency area restaurant at 410 Commerce Center Drive.

Plans show the interior renovations will include areas such as "The Green Room," "The Porch," "The Charles Bar," "The Veranda," the "Piedmont Room" and "Dixie."

A building permit application shows the Branch Building Group of Franklin, Tenn., is the contractor for the $350,000 project.

Plans and the application show that 4,466 square feet of the 7,566-square-foot restaurant will be renovated. L&P Architecture LLC of Akron, Ohio, is the designer.

The renovations will include dining room remodeling, exterior entry improvements and new signs and awnings. The restaurant and bar seat 278.

The owner is O'Charley's Inc. of Nashville, Tenn.

Panera drive-thru pending in Regency

Panera Bread is working on plans for a drive-thru at its Regency area restaurant at 9301 Atlantic Blvd.

St. Louis-based Panera intends to develop the drive-thru to wrap behind the restaurant, which is at the end of a strip center north of Atlantic Boulevard.

Avid Group of Orlando is the project engineer. Law Kingdom Architecture of Wichita, Kan., is the designer. The property owner is Dividend Capital Property Management LLC of Denver.

The building is 9,065 square feet and would expand to 9,153 square feet.

The City is reviewing site development plans.

McDonald's plans Baymeadows restaurant

McDonald's plans a restaurant on 1.13 acres at southeast Baymeadows Road East and Annie Eliza Road, east of the Interstate 295 East Beltway.

The mobility fee calculation is $189,429.

CPH Inc. is the agent and engineer and the property owner is Wiley James LLC.

The building would be 3,889 square feet.

Mr. Chan licensed for Southside

Tax Collector Michael Corrigan issued a business license for Mr. Chan Asian Cuisine Inc. 1 at 13947 Beach Blvd. Yi He Chen is the applicant.

Sunshine Grocery on the way to Roosevelt

Sunshine Natural Foods LLC wants to open the Sunshine Grocery in the Roosevelt Boulevard area at 4530 St. Johns Ave., No. 13.

Sun Group Construction Inc. is the architect for the $100,000 project, according to a building permit application. Thomas Duke Architect is the designer.

Plans show tenant improvements of 6,224 square feet.

Plans also refer to it as the "Roosevelt Grocery."

Pho Today approved

Pho Today Restaurant will be built-out in in the Tinseltown area at 9700 Deer Lake Court, No. 5.

The City approved a permit for contractor Jason Phitides to renovate the space at a cost of $18,200.

As reported, the 2,640-square foot restaurant is shown as featuring 116 seats, with 96 inside and 20 outside. Restaurateur Vuong Le is the owner.

The center features a Jersey Mike's Subs, a Moe's Southwest Grill and also will feature the World of Beer.
