The Southeast Building Conference is the largest building industry trade show in the southeast, and it has been drawing building industry professionals for 36 years. As the premier trade event, its key features include outstanding educational programs including three days of keynote speakers, hard-hitting seminars, designation programs, networking opportunities, roundtable discussions and industry briefings.

NEFBA members who attended the July 24-25 event in Orlando were NEFBA President Daniel Blanchard, past presidents Michael Bourré, Jerry Linder and Greg Matovina, and second vice president Rick Morales. Others in attendance were Ron Harris, Cole Slate, Amber Williams, Christine Williams, Matt Wilford, Franchesca Swierz, Judy Hicks, Trudy Clark, Doug Wenzel, Tammy Stamper and Rita Williams.

The SEBC brought back its Excel Awards competition after a four-year hiatus. NEFBA members taking home awards were the following:

Amber Williams (Lennar Homes) – Marketing Director of the Year

NEFBA SMC – Membership Drive Contest

Bonded Builders Home Warranty– Best Brochure by an Associate

Cole Slate (Yellowfin Realty) – Rookie Sales Person of the Year

Rita Williams (Merchandising Plus) – Best Interior Merchandising (3 awards)
