Richmond American Homes of Florida has closed on properties in Jacksonville Beach and Mandarin, and will have homes ready for the market in late summer.
The announcement was made by Richmond American’s parent company, the Denver-based M.D.C. Holdings.
The beach property is on the corner of South Beach Parkway and Sanctuary Parkeway in South Jacksonville Beach and will be called Ocean Terrace. There will be 59 homesites with ranch and two-story floor plans from approximately 2,250-3,050 finished square feet.
New homes in Ocean Terrace will start from the $400,000s.
The 12-acre property in Mandarin was formerly known as Danese Landing and has been renamed Julington Oaks. It is off Florida 13 and Julington Creek Road.
There will be 33 homesites with ranch and two-story floor plans ranging from approximately 2,500-3,450 finished square feet. The homes will have three to six bedrooms starting from the upper $200,000s. Among the models to be built is a home called Francesca.
