Portofino is open for business.
ReMax Watermarke held an April developer meet and greet for the 23-unit luxury townhome complex next to Queen’s Harbour Yacht and Country Club.
An on-site sales center opened May 10.
“The level of interest has been very high,” said Michelle Mousin, director of sales for the project. “It’s new construction, which is something people haven’t seen in a while.”
Mousin said buyers will be attracted by Portofino’s smart home features and its design details, which include 6-by-24 porcelain wood-plank flooring in three colors.
Units will sell for $285,000 to $325,000 for 1,848 square feet to just over 2,000 square feet.
Developer Urban Partners is planning 10 units for the first phase build-out. The company expects to break ground mid-summer and finish by the first quarter of 2015.
