Format: Union apprenticeship program, NECA and IBEW Local 177. Apprentices receive job assignments from the union.

NEFBA Apprenticeship Training

Format: Employer sponsored apprenticeship for NEFBA-member companies. Students receive classroom instruction, on-the-job training and an hourly wage. Applicants without jobs will receive placement assistance.

Placements: Air Solutions Heating and Cooling, AllState Electrical, McKendree's Plumbing, Auld & White Constructors, Thomas May Construction.

Length/Class hours: Four years. September through April, two nights per week.

Cost: Tuition paid by employer, apprentice pays for books.

Enrollment: 110, will expand to 200 in 2015.
