Lieberman honors four members with ‘Eagles’
FHBA’s 2014 President Ron Lieberman honored four members with the coveted “Eagle Award” at the conference.
“The choice of this year’s winners was difficult because so many members contributed in so many ways,” said Lieberman. “But my selections are a reflection of what I value, including our involvement with building codes and energy-related regulations, the important role that associate members play at FHBA, the work of National Association of Home Builders and the members who contribute to it, and the dedication and excellence of our FHBA staff in Tallahassee.”
Lieberman presented Eagles to:
• Arlene Stewart of the BA of North Central Florida and AZS Consulting, Inc. in Gainesville, whose accomplishment included working to make building codes affordable.
• George Cooper of the Treasure Coast Builders Association and Cooper Consulting Engineers headquartered in Hobe Sound, who excelled as a member of the FHBA.
• Karen Koelemij of the Tallahassee Builders Association and Orange State Construction in Tallahassee, who has served as state representative and Area V National Area Chairman of NAHB.
• Kimberly Scott, FHBA’s COO/CFO, who joined the association staff in 2008 and played a key role in stabilizing the association’s finances.
