The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, has unveiled plans for the first two neighborhoods in its Twenty Mile community.

The Island at Twenty Mile and The Pointe at Twenty Mile will feature upscale homes built by David Weekley Homes, Standard Pacific Homes and ICI Homes.

Twenty Mile offers the largest lots to date in Nocatee, allowing residents to build homes up to 6,000 square feet. All lots will have preserve or lake views.

Located in St. Johns County just west of the Intracoastal Waterway, Twenty Mile will be a distinctive community, the developer said, with large oak trees, split-rail fencing and a rustic, old-Florida style.

Twenty Mile derives its name from Twenty Mile House, a 1700s military outpost that served as a half-way station between St. Augustine and Fort Caroline for soldiers and travelers.

Builders are taking reservations for new homes, with prices starting in the high $400,000s.
