Dream Finders Homes LLC has been named to Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000,” a list of America’s 5,000 fastest growing private companies.
Ranked 823rd, Dream Finders is the only homebuilder in Northeast Florida to make the list and is the second-highest ranked homebuilder in Florida, a company news release said.
The homebuilder has experienced a three-year revenue growth of 552 percent. It is on track to close 450 homes in 2014.
The Jacksonville-based company recently expanded into Georgia and plans to move into Texas and Colorado next year.
ICI Homes of Tamaya is beginning design work and permitting for its second neighborhood at Tamaya, located off Beach Boulevard between Kernan and Hodges boulevards. Sales for its first neighborhood, Bella Nina, have already reached 40 out of 169 planned homes, meeting the developer’s goal for all of 2014 within the first four months. Tamaya’s next neighborhood will have 146 homes. Also, construction will begin on a $10 million, amenity center (above), featuring an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse, with a nearly 4,500-square-foot fitness area, pools, tennis courts, and an event lawn. Construction is planned for completion in the fourth quarter.

ICI Homes will open its newest neighborhood, Siena at Town Center, in Nocatee on Sept. 25.
The community will consist of 85 homes ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet, with prices starting in the mid-$300,000s.
Siena at Town Center will offer Mediterranean, Tuscan and Spanish front elevations and features such as rear alley entry garages, front porches and courtyards.
The neighborhood will be a short walk from Nocatee’s Town Center, splash waterpark, fitness club and community park.
A special Realtor luncheon is scheduled, as is an evening event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for those on a VIP interest list.
Three models will be completed in December.
In response to customer demand, Toll Brothers has introduced several new sections of home sites at Coastal Oaks at Nocatee.
The company reported it experienced a 45 percent increase in sales in the first half of 2014 compared to the same period last year.
Many of the newly released home sites are on cul-de-sacs and overlook lakes or preservation areas, said Greg Netro, president of Toll Brothers North Florida Division.
Coastal Oaks at Nocatee by Toll Brothers offers several collections of single-family home designs, priced from the $300,000s to more than $800,000 and ranging from approximately 2,000 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet.

Becovic Management Group, an Indiana-based multifamily development and investment company, has purchased a 152-unit apartment complex in Ortega for $5.12 million.
The complex was originally developed by the Demetree Brothers Inc. in 1974.
The transaction was brokered by the Colliers International Jacksonville-based multifamily investment and advisory team.
Becovic’s intent is to transform the community from a C-class asset to a B-grade quality property, Bradley Coe, director of Multifamily Investment Services at Colliers, said in a news release.
It is Becovic’s first apartment community purchase in Florida.
Palencia’s residential/retail Village Center has added five retailers this summer, bringing the number of commercial businesses at the master planned community to more than 30.
The new retailers are Wine Down on Market Street, Miko Salon, Market Street Boutique, Pure Balance Wellness & Yoga and Intermedia.
They join such retailers as Starbucks, BB&T Bank, Dunkin’ Donuts, a pet clinic, an exercise studio and Donovan’s Irish Pub.
Other recent additions at the walkable, European-style Village Center include the newly renovated The Palencia Club and the Village Lofts at Palencia — 16 residential units above the retail shops in the community’s center.

The company was also named to the Gibraltar Circle Pinnacle Group, which honors the network’s top 30 companies.
The Northeast Florida real estate firm has received the Gibraltar Circle Award for 21 consecutive years.
Lennar is building a model park in Palencia consisting of six homes from four of Lennar’s collections. Development started in July will be completed by winter. Lennar first broke ground in the Palencia community in spring.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty collected 571 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in Northeast Florida during its 15th Annual Backpack Challenge.
The hundreds of backpacks were donated to students via Community Connections of Jacksonville, Operation New Hope, The Bridge of Northeast Florida Inc., R.B. Hunt Elementary School, Hartley Elementary School, St. Augustine High School, Bryan Jennings Elementary School and Clay High School.
