NEFBA’s annual Gala is more than a fundraiser. It is a celebration of the year, excitement about the future and a chance to pull out all the stops to have fun.
This year’s event was Nov. 13 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. About 700 NEFBA members and guests left their superstitions about Friday the 13th at the front door and enjoyed an evening of food, drink, socializing and friendly casino action.
The ticket price at the Rat Pack-themed party included an open bar, buffet dinner, casino games, a silent auction and an entry in the grand prize raffle — a trip to Napa Valley. That grand prize winner was Matt Figlesthaler with Lennar Homes.
Special guests included Jacksonville City Council President Greg Anderson, State Attorney Angela Corey, Property Appraiser Jerry Holland and JAX Chamber President Daniel Davis, who also is a former NEFBA executive director.
A portion of the Gala proceeds benefit local charities and nonprofits.
