Keller Williams Jacksonville Realty has launched a Jacksonville chapter of its Young Professionals division.
The group will meet every month to take part in seminars, guest speakers, books and collaborative discussion on how to build a real estate business.
The division was started by Keller Williams agents who wanted to network and brainstorm with other Realtors in the same age group — 40-ish and younger — as well as entry-level Realtors, said CC Underwood, who is heading up the initiative in Jacksonville.
“People are so focused on their own businesses and so afraid to share information,” she said. “We believe it’s OK to share information about what’s working, especially in Northeast Florida where there’s so much happening.”
Ultimately the purpose is to increase the productivity of agents, but it’s also about recruiting for Keller Williams.
The first two or three monthly meetings will be free and open to Realtors from any company. Later there will be a charge and sessions will be limited to Keller Williams’ agents.
