Born and raised in Jacksonville, Brian J. Register joined the Insuramerica of Florida team in 2008 as a commercial lines producer at the ripe, young age of 23.
Since then he has continued to develop the company and himself.
Register first sunk his teeth into management on the personal lines side, where he started his rapid, but challenging, uphill climb in the insurance industry.
“Managing the personal lines department of Insuramerica was a great opportunity for me,” Register said. “It taught me a great deal about customer service and developing relationships.”
He continued to grow and develop the company through the down market and was promoted to executive vice president in 2013.
Register is heavily involved in committees and councils in Jacksonville and surrounding areas and makes the most of any and all networking opportunities.
“I firmly believe in NEFBA and its direction, and have thoroughly enjoyed working with its staff over the years,” Register said.
In 2015, Register became president of Insuramerica and continues to run the company with a “clients-first” approach.
“I have clients ask me if I ever take a break,” said Register.
But the fact is, he is always available to his clients and staff.
NEFBA Executive Officer Corey Deal said Register has been an outstanding association member over the last seven or eight years.
“He is an active member and a consistent supporter of NEFBA through both sponsorships and participation,” Deal said. “I believe his participation has paid dividends for his business through the relationships he has developed through his work at the association.”
