What an exciting few weeks we’ve had!
With only a few days remaining in the 2015 membership drive, I can say I’m proud of the effort and team work I’ve seen as we push toward the finish line.
I know better than to predict a winner because traditionally there are surprises at the end.
Suffice it to say, many of you have stepped up to the plate to make calls, reach out and make your most persuasive pitch to enlist new members.
The NEFBA offices were buzzing with activity as teams took their place at the phones for this all-out effort.
Our goal is not only to increase our numbers and retain our standing in the state and the nation, but to strengthen our association with active, enthusiastic, participating members.
We need members who are willing to invest in the association for the benefit of the entire membership.
That’s what our membership drive teams have been doing.
That’s what so many of you do throughout the year when you attend board and committee meetings, take part in charity events, show up for socializing and networking, and take part in the many educational opportunities NEFBA offers.
I hope you’ve noticed the increased exposure we are offering members in Builder News.
We’ve added a feature that introduces the council chairs. And we’re highlighting member benefits with actual experiences of our members.
We’ve also been able to promote the association as a resource for consumers in a monthly feature in The Florida Times-Union.
It’s called the NEFBA Notebook and it appears in the Homes section the third Saturday of each month.
We want to be recognized as the association on the move, growing, vibrant and strong.
You make that happen.
