Cushman & Wakefield announced Aug. 20 that Greg Rainey has joined the firm in Jacksonville as managing director of North Florida multifamily investments.

Rainey joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Florida multifamily advisory group led by Vice Chairs Nick Meoli and Mike Donaldson in Tampa and Senior Director Joey Blakley in Orlando.

“The firm’s commitment to growing its multifamily advisory business in Florida and beyond offers an exceptional opportunity,” Rainey said in a news release.

Cushman & Wakefield Managing Principal Wanda Riley said Rainey will be part of the effort to strengthen and grow the company’s multifamily advisory business in North Florida and across the state and Sunbelt.

“His addition allows us to better serve clients and their portfolios across Florida. What’s more, the Jacksonville region is critical to our growth, and we plan imminent further investment in the market,” Riley said.

Rainey joins Cushman & Wakefield from Berkadia, where he began his commercial real estate career as an intern while attending Florida State University and rose to senior director. His LinkedIn profile shows he has been with the company in Jacksonville since 2014.

Cushman & Wakefield is a global commercial real estate services firm for property owners and occupiers with about 52,000 employees in nearly 400 offices and 60 countries.

It reported 2024 revenue of $9.4 billion across its core service lines of services, leasing, capital markets, valuation and more.
