A holiday carol: 12 Times of Law School

The holidays are in the air at the Jacksonville University School of Law.

1. On my first day of law school, my classmates left to me, a carrel in the li—brary.

2. In my first term of law school,  a teacher gave to me, two tough tests, and a carrel in the li—brary.

3. On my first break in law school, the review gave to me, three red pens, two tough tests and a carrel in the li—brary.

4. My first spring term in law school, I took upon myself, too many clubs, three red pens, two tough tests and a carrel in the li—brary. 

5. For one summer law firm job, my CV got for me, five golden offers, etc. 

6. As a 2L in law school, my bankers gave to me, six loans I’m paying, etc.

7. On another winter break, my firm assigned to me, seven briefs for trimming, etc.

8. On a 3L externship, a DA taught  to me, eight ways for flipping, seven briefs for trimming, six loans I’m paying, five golden offers, etc.

9. At the Spring Barrister’s Ball, I did not want to see, nine law deans dancing, eight ways for flipping, seven briefs for trimming, etc.

10. At my law graduation,  I did not know I’d hear, 10 judges swearing, nine law deans dancing, eights ways for flipping, seven briefs for trimming, six loans I’m paying, five golden offers, etc.

11. During Bar preparation, I was happy to see, 11 preppers prepping, etc.

12.  When I passed the Bar exam, my true parents bought for me, 12 suits for suing, 11 preppers prepping, 10 judges swearing, nine law deans dancing, eight ways for flipping, seven briefs for trimming, six loans I’m paying, five golden jobs, too many clubs, three red pens, two tough tests, and a carrel in the li--brary.
