Jacksonville Transportation Authority announces community meetings for mobility feedback

The topics include transportation initiatives, recent improvements and future enhancements.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has scheduled a series of community meetings to discuss mobility and transportation in Northeast Florida. 

The meetings will “provide residents with updates on current transportation initiatives, recent improvements, and future enhancements, while gathering feedback to help guide long-term mobility planning across Northeast Florida,” according to a JTA news release. 

JTA says it will provide an overview of its services, plus updates on service improvements and operational efficiencies implemented over the past year.

The schedule:

Jan. 6: FSCJ Downtown large auditorium at 501 W. State St., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

Jan. 7: William Gulliford Community Center, 4870 Ocean St., 9 -11 a.m.

Jan. 8: Pablo Creek Public Library, 13295 Beach Blvd., 5-8 p.m.

Jan. 13: Legends Center, 5130 Soutel Drive , 10 a.m. to noon and 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Jan. 14: Regency Square Public Library, 9900 Regency Square Blvd., 3-5:30 p.m.

Jan. 15: Regency Square Public Library, 1 to 3 p.m.
