An estimated $1 million site-work project is in review for remodeling the closed, fire-damaged Hardee’s along Merrill Road in Arlington.
The building is being remodeled after the fast-food restaurant sustained fire damage from a roof replacement during what the permit says was in summer 2024.
Hardee’s is being renovated on 1.1 acres at 9111 Merrill Road, east of Southside Connector and Interstate 295.
The permit was created May 1, 2025.
The city also has been reviewing a permit application for the renovation of the 3,426-square-foot building at an estimated project cost of $755,210. That project was created March 6, 2025.
Plans indicate seating for 78 people and a drive-thru.
