Plans are in review for Publix in northern St. Johns County.
The plans were submitted Nov. 10 for the grocery store at Veterans and Longleaf Pines parkways. The site is northeast of The Church of Eleven22 campus and Creekside High School. It is about 3.8 miles southeast of the Interstate 95-U.S. 98 interchange.
The application calls for a 63,265-square-foot grocer with an affiliated liquor store.

“I can confirm that we have signed a lease for a store at Veterans Parkway and Longleaf Pines Parkway,” a Publix spokesperson said in an Oct. 8 statement.
The St. Johns River Water Management District issued an environmental resource permit for the project Oct. 9.
ACC Project Longleaf LLC is listed as the landowner. Prosser | Prime AE is the civil engineer.
The registered agent for the LLC is Ancient City Capital, a real estate investment firm in St. Augustine.
The store would join several Publix locations in St. Johns, including one under construction in the SilverLeaf community about 8.5 miles south.
The county’s development review committee is scheduled to discuss the project Dec. 17.
