The 1,854-square-foot location is planned at 1901 Old Moultrie Road west of U.S. 1 and south of Florida 312 at Riverside Center. It is anchored a Publix grocery store and the property is owned by the same LLC.

In February 2025, Valvoline said it planned to acquire Breeze Autocare from Greenbriar Equity Group for about $625 million in cash pending Federal Trade Commission antitrust review. Breeze Autocare operates about 200 quick-lube and preventive maintenance stores in 17 states, mainly under the Oil Changers brand, according to a news release. The deal would increase Valvoline’s North American store count to more than 2,200, moving it closer to its goal of 3,500 locations.

There are five Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores in Northeast Florida.

The St. Johns County Development Review Committee will discuss the St. Augustine store Oct. 29.
