A Circle K gas station and convenience store is planned in the Elkton area of St. Johns County along Florida 207 about a half-mile southwest of Interstate 95.
The county began reviewing the project Oct. 14, and its development review committee is scheduled to discuss it Nov. 26.
Plans for the proposed site, at Florida 207 and Deerpark Boulevard, comprise a 5,200-square-foot convenience store, 12 fueling stations with 24 pumps, five high-speed diesel pumps, associated infrastructure and 25 parking spaces.
North of the planned Circle K along Deerpark Boulevard are several warehouses, including KeHE Distributors and 84 Lumber.
Elkton is about 12 miles southwest of St. Augustine.
According to the St. Johns County Property Appraiser, the property is owned by Patel Asset Holdings LLC. Jacksonville-based Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.
Founded in 1951, Circle K is an international chain of convenience stores owned by the Canadian multinational corporation Alimentation Couche-Tard.
As of September 2025, data website Scraphero reported there are about 6,836 Circle K stores in the U.S. and more than 14,200 locations across 26 countries, including 932 in Florida.
