PopUp Bagels, a takeout franchise, is building-out in The Strand at Town Center.

JMC Commercial Contractors LLC and Jones & Chou Properties LLC, both at the same address in New Orleans, are listed as the contractors for the $373,039 project to build-out 990 square feet at 4852 Town Center Parkway, No. 106.

Popup Bagels is planned for 4852 Town Center Parkway, No. 106, in The Strand at Town Center. It is a former Planet Smoothie space.

MPZ Pop LLC of Lutz is the franchisee.

CTO Realty Growth Inc. of Daytona Beach is the landlord.

Zelta Design of Nutley, New Jersey, is the architect.

The space at one time was leased to Planet Smoothie.

Popup Bagels says "its goal is “to make you the best, freshest bagels. No frills, plainly perfect: crispy crust and soft crumb center, just the right size and with a perfect proportion of seeds.”

PopUp Bagels, based in Westport, Connecticut, says on popupbagels.com that its goal is “to make you the best, freshest bagels. No frills, plainly perfect: crispy crust and soft crumb center, just the right size and with a perfect proportion of seeds.”

Its site shows 16 locations, comprising eight in New York, four in Connecticut, two in Massachusetts, and one each in North Carolina and Florida. 

 Hours at the Florida shop in Tampa are 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Along with bagels are spreads, smoked salmon, water, lemonade, juice and cold brew.
