Health care litigator Jeremy Ches returned to Holland & Knight’s North Florida Litigation Practice Group as a partner in Jacksonville.

Ches most recently was senior counsel for more than 10 years at Florida Blue, where he founded and led Florida Blue parent company GuideWell Mutual Holding Corp.’s Affirmative Recovery Program that recoups financial losses caused by fraud, waste and abuse, anticompetitive behaviors, business torts and other wrongful conduct.

Ches initially joined Holland & Knight in 2006 before leaving to work for Florida Blue in 2016.

His legal career began as an assistant state attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit from 2003 through 2006.

Ches is returning to commercial litigation practice, with a focus on advising health care and other regulated industry clients on business and contract disputes, government investigations, class actions and regulatory compliance matters.

He received a JD from the Wake Forest University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
