A third Dunkin’ might be coming to Northeast Florida, with the newest planned for the town of Callahan in Nassau County.

The Callahan Town Council unanimously approved plans March 2 for a site at 542547 U.S. 1, about 12 miles west of Interstate 95.

Jacksonville-based EnVision Design & Engineering is listed as the civil engineer, and Callahan MSM LLC is named as the landowner.

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an environmental resource permit application, which regulates construction, protects water quality, manages stormwater and helps prevent flooding.

A building permit will be required to construct the Dunkin’.

Elsewhere in Northeast Florida, a permit is under review in Clay County for a Dunkin’ in Oakleaf Plantation at Canaveral Trace and Resilience Way, west of the First Coast Expressway and south of Oakleaf Plantation Parkway.

The application shows a freestanding 1,380-square-foot store with a drive-thru and 12 parking spaces.

Birmingham, Alabama-based Skiles Engineering LLC is the civil engineer, and developer Armstrong Development Inc. of Virginia is listed as the owner.

In West Jacksonville, the city issued a permit Jan. 20 to Suncoast Industrial & Construction Services Inc. of Atlantic Beach for an $800,000 project at 11410 Normandy Blvd.

That 1,980-square-foot Dunkin’ will sit on 2.46 acres between Chaffee Road and the First Coast Expressway.

Donahue Architecture Inc. of Ocala is listed as the architect, and franchisee Alisha & Pooja LLC is named as the owner.
