After eight years in business, home renovation company STA Cabinet Depot plans a move to a permanent St. Johns County location at 110 Ronald Road off U.S. 1, about 6 miles north of its current site, the company confirmed.

The business presently leases space at 320 Florida 16.

The new site, roughly 2 miles south of the Palencia community and just north of the Wobbly Whale pub, covers about 1 acre and requires rezoning from Residential Mobile Home designation to Commercial Warehouse designation.

STA, through Dylan Michael LLC, purchased the property March 30 from Gary Zornes and Cynthia Bruce at an undisclosed price, according to the county clerk website.

RGM Engineers Inc. of St. Augustine is the civil engineer, and plans call for a warehouse and showroom.

Founded in 2018, STA Cabinet Depot is locally owned and operated, and serves St. Johns and Duval counties.

According to its website, the company provides kitchen, bathroom and custom cabinets, office cabinetry and kitchen and bathroom remodels. Design services include layout planning and a virtual reality design center, giving customers a hands-on way to visualize their projects before work begins.
