Jacksonville-based Corporate Traffic Logistics is the new naming rights sponsor for the playing surface at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium.

During an April 2 event at the stadium, the university announced it was expanding a partnership with the company with a five-year agreement that includes renaming the field to Corporate Traffic Logistics Field at Hodges Stadium.

The monetary amount of the agreement was not released.

The deal also establishes Corporate Traffic Logistics as the preferred logistics partner of UNF and provides the company with signage throughout Harmon Stadium, UNF Arena and the UNF Softball Complex.

UNF Interim President Angela Garcia Falconetti called the company a strong longtime supporter of the university, noting that Corporate Traffic Logistics had attended 29 UNF career fairs since 2023 and hired more than 175 interns from UNF over the past 15 years.

Former UNF soccer players who now work for Corporate Traffic Logistics were on hand. They included senior managers Juan Fajardo and Bayley Cashion, who said that as students they were familiar with the company through its support of UNF sports, its recruitment activities on campus and through classmates and teammates who worked there.

“We saw the opportunity to grow,” Fajardo said. “When we got there, it was kind of small. So we saw that there was an opportunity to do something meaningful to grow it.”

“It’s a family owned company too, so it’s not like you’re joining a big corporation,” Cashion said. “You’re not joining a staff of multi-thousand people. You walk in, and guys are always asking me how the team’s done.”

According to the university, Corporate Traffic Logistics for several years has served as title sponsor for the UNF Business Career Fair in the spring and fall, supported scholarships and helped launch a Name Image & Likeness program.
